We shared our first Christmas orange this morning. We, being Abby and me. You know that moment when you first tear into the orange and a gush of citrus sprays your finger and the fragrance catches you in a smile. Abby wags her tail and waits. I unwrap it like the first present of the season, anticipating. One segment for me, one for her. Oh, it’s deliciously sweet and juicy and we’re both smiling. I scrunch up the pale green paper with the peel inside. The first orange is finished and Abby’s waiting for the second to be peeled. Ok, one more and we’re off to work. I have three Emerald Cut Diamonds to work with today. Care to guess what will become of them?
