I'm President of Oro de Rey, Winnipeg's Concierge Custom Jewelery service specializing in diamonds, gems and gold.

He’s a pretty awesome guy.

original family rings, recreating signet ring, oroderey.com, making old new, winnipeg concierge jewellerHe’s a pretty awesome guy.  I know ’cause his wife’s whole body smiles when she talks about him.  They’ve moved lots because of his important work but the boys and her are ok with that ’cause he’s a pretty awesome guy.

That’s why she wanted an awesome memento to commemorate the next move – for his squad.  There were 2 rings that had been worn by his grandparents. You know, his family who helped shape him into that awesome guy.  She had those rings shaped into a ring with his squad’s logo.  Pretty sure he loves it. Pretty sure it will continue to be in the family for years to come.

Legacy of love

His first email told me he had an idea to combine a beautiful pear shaped diamond from his mother’s ring to make an engagement ring for the woman he wanted to marry.  Great idea.  Could we work the details between phone calls and emails – he being in Regina and I in Winnipeg?

Isn’t technology grand?  Sending photos back and forth we designed a beautiful ring and wedding band – a true labour of love.

The ring is held in white gold.  The engraved wedding band is the perfect complement.

Concierge service included delivery in Regina at a local Tim Horton’s.  She said yes that evening.

Girls just wanna have fun…

I got a call that the bride wanted to bring her bridesmaids from Regina to Winnipeg for a weekend of fun.  She thought it would be the perfect opportunity to meet with me to design her wedding band.   So between mani’s and pedi’s, shopping and sauna’s, and her bachelorette party we met to work on it.

I flew out to Regina wedding band, concierge jewellery custom design, winnipeg jewellerto make the delivery. The bride was expecting one band. The groom decided she should have two.  They were to be like a halo to surround the centre stone.

I smiled all the way back to Winnipeg.
