Legacy of love

His first email told me he had an idea to combine a beautiful pear shaped diamond from his mother’s ring to make an engagement ring for the woman he wanted to marry.  Great idea.  Could we work the details between phone calls and emails – he being in Regina and I in Winnipeg?

Isn’t technology grand?  Sending photos back and forth we designed a beautiful ring and wedding band – a true labour of love.

The ring is held in white gold.  The engraved wedding band is the perfect complement.

Concierge service included delivery in Regina at a local Tim Horton’s.  She said yes that evening.

From Bud to Bloom

Family heirloom peridot and emerald with diamonds set in gold family ring

I love how this ring came to bloom.

Her grandmother bequeathed a ring to her set with 5 diamonds.  Those diamonds became the sentinel stones to her children’s birthstones –  the peridot is for her son, the emerald is for her daughter.

Just like the orchids started with buds, so the wax mould was the budding of this beauty.  One step in the custom design for a happy customer.  And unlike the orchids, this bloom won’t fade.
